Our client manages short-term and long-term rental properties, including Airbnb and regular rentals.

 

Job Description:

This role involves managing two property portfolios, covering both short-term (like Airbnb) and long-term rentals. You will use property management software to handle daily tasks. The company uses Hospitable.com but experience with any similar software is acceptable. Training on new software will not be provided.

You need to be proactive and have strong common sense. The ideal candidate will manage their own task list and provide daily updates. You will work closely with the team to plan ahead and ensure smooth operations. The role requires you to be tech-savvy, as the company is integrating AI to automate responses and tasks, especially for after-hours inquiries.

 

Responsibilities of the role:

• Manage short-term and long-term rental properties.

• Utilize property management software to handle bookings and guest communication.

• Proactively manage tasks and provide daily updates on progress.

• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly.

• Collaborate with the team on scheduling and planning.

• Adapt to and utilize AI tools for task automation.

• Handle emergency situations that require immediate attention.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in short-term or long-term rental management.

• Experience with property management software (e.g., Hospitable.com, or similar).

• Strong common sense and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage a task list and work independently.

• Tech-savvy with an aptitude for learning new software and tools.

• C1 English level.

• Must be located in Latin America.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with AI-driven customer service tools.

• Familiarity with automation in property management.

 

Personality:

• Proactive and self-motivated.

• Detail-oriented.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Ability to handle pressure and emergencies calmly.

 

Software & Tools:

• Property management software (e.g., Hospitable.com, Guesty, Lodgify, etc.).

• AI-powered communication tools.

 

Schedule:

Monday through Saturday.

Hours are seasonal, typically around 8 AM, but may extend to 6 PM or later depending on business needs.

Must be available for on-call emergencies.
