Job Title: Offshore Analytics Engineer

About the Company:

Our client specializes in providing media solutions and analytics to enhance business reporting systems.

Job Description:

Our client is looking for an experienced offshore analytics engineer to maintain and support their existing business reporting system. This role focuses on keeping the pipeline healthy, fixing issues, and making incremental improvements as needs evolve.

This is a part-time, ongoing maintenance role, where you will own the day-to-day health of a modern data stack reporting system, ensuring data flows from source systems into the dashboards stakeholders rely on.

Responsibilities of the role:

• Maintain and monitor the existing reporting pipeline (Snowflake, FiveTran, Sigma)

• Troubleshoot and resolve data sync failures, pipeline errors, and broken reports

• Update and refine existing dashboards and reports as business needs change

• Manage and optimize FiveTran connectors and data ingestion

• Write and maintain SQL transformations and data models in Snowflake

• Build new Sigma dashboards and reports on request

• Document the system to ensure it is not dependent on any single person

• Communicate proactively about issues, fixes, and recommended improvements

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Snowflake — hands-on SQL, data modeling, warehouse management

• FiveTran — configuring, managing, and troubleshooting connectors

• Sigma — building and maintaining dashboards and reports

• Strong SQL fundamentals

• Ability to reverse-engineer and maintain a system built by someone else with limited documentation

• Self-directed; comfortable owning a system with light oversight

Preferred Skills:

• dbt or similar transformation tooling

• Experience supporting BI/reporting for marketing or media companies

• Familiarity with other modern data stack tools (Airflow, Looker, etc.)

Personality:

• Proactive communicator with strong documentation skills

Software & Tools:

• Snowflake

• FiveTran

• Sigma

Schedule:

Part-time, approx. 20–40 hours/month.

Flexible hours; some overlap with US business hours preferred for collaboration and issue response.

Salary and Benefits:

• Payment in USD or Local Currency according to candidate's preference.

• Full-time remote opportunity.
