Job Description:

Our client is looking for a Healthcare Navigator and Customer Service Agent to join their growing team. In this role, you will help seniors and their caregivers manage medications, scheduling, and healthcare benefits. You will work with a custom case management system that automates workflows and messaging to make your daily tasks efficient.

 

Responsibilities of the role:

• Handle refill management and make sure seniors get their medications on time.

• Call doctor offices and pharmacies.

• Manage scheduling for members.

• Answer benefit analysis questions.

• Provide feedback on system bugs and suggest improvements for workflows.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Experience in the United States healthcare system and insurance market.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

• HIPAA training through video courses.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Strong communication skills to speak with seniors.

• Ability to understand pharmacy and doctor prescription workflows.

 

Personality:

• Patient and able to roll with the punches when facing startup challenges.

• Tech-savvy and proactive in sharing feedback.

 

Software & Tools:

• Custom case management queue system.

• Twilio voice over IP system embedded in the platform.

 

Schedule:

Eastern time hours

Full-time schedule
