About the Company:

Our client sells to local government and school HR departments across the United States, primarily in California.

 

Job Description:

Our client is an early-stage company focused on growing their sales pipeline. They have a strong understanding of when to approach potential clients and have developed effective scripts. They are looking for dedicated callers to expand their outbound sales efforts.

The core responsibility of this role is making outbound calls to potential clients. You will be provided with specific lists of people to contact and clear scripts to follow. The main goal is to book appointments with potential clients.

 

Responsibilities of the role:

• Make outbound calls to potential clients using provided lists and scripts.

• Book appointments with interested prospects.

• Gather information about prospects who are not interested, including if there is a better time to contact them.

• Provide feedback on calls and scripts to help iterate and improve the sales process.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a similar calling role where you can quickly start with provided scripts and context.

• Ability to ask for clarification when needed.

• Strong English communication skills with a clear accent.

• Experience working with government or school clients is preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field.

• Ability to work full-time.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Nooks calling software.

 

Personality:

• Energetic and resilient with good stamina for consistent calling.

• Proactive and able to work independently.

• Willing to ask questions when clarification is needed.

• Focused on quality of appointments booked, not just quantity.

 

Software & Tools:

• Nooks (or similar calling software).

 

Schedule:

Full-time, primarily Pacific Time hours.

Example schedule: 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM Pacific Time.
