About the Company:

Our client is a sports physical therapy and performance training company based in South Florida.

 

Job Description:

You will manage and improve the company's overall search engine optimization strategy for both business divisions and locations. You need to be a senior and independent professional who can take ownership of the strategy without day-to-day supervision.

Your first week will focus on understanding the business, auditing the existing website, identifying search engine optimization issues, and developing an action plan.

 

Responsibilities of the role:

• Conduct ongoing keyword research and monitor search trends.

• Optimize website pages, content, metadata, headings, internal links, and images.

• Improve technical search engine optimization and ensure all website pages and images are properly indexed by Google.

• Improve website speed and performance while maintaining a high-end user experience.

• Optimize the website for AI-driven search platforms.

• Conduct regular website audits and identify technical issues.

• Recommend improvements or redesigns when necessary.

• Monitor rankings, organic traffic, and overall search performance.

• Assess website accessibility compliance and identify areas that need attention.

• Track performance, explain results, and recommend actionable improvements.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Senior-level search engine optimization experience with a proven track record managing strategies independently.

• Strong experience conducting website audits, identifying technical issues, improving site structure, fixing indexing problems, and optimizing crawlability.

• Ability to continuously research keywords, analyze search intent, monitor trends, and identify opportunities to improve rankings.

• Experience optimizing website pages, metadata, headings, content, internal links, and images.

• Ability to improve website speed, loading times, and overall performance for websites with heavy video and visual content.

• Hands-on experience with Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, and other monitoring tools.

• Understanding of how to optimize websites for visibility in AI-powered search platforms.

• Ability to take ownership of the search engine optimization strategy without constant supervision.

• Ability to track performance, explain results, identify problems, and recommend actionable improvements.

• C2 English level.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with healthcare, physical therapy, sports performance, or medical clinic websites.

• Experience managing search engine optimization for multi-location businesses.

• Experience optimizing websites with significant video and multimedia content.

• Knowledge of website accessibility standards and experience identifying compliance issues.

• Experience with website redesigns, restructuring, or content management system optimization.

• Familiarity with schema markup and structured data.

• Experience with local search engine optimization and Google Business Profile optimization.
