Our client is a sports physical therapy and performance training business operating across two locations.

 

Job Description:

Our client is looking for a proactive and hands-on Social Media Manager. You will manage daily Instagram engagement and help increase the brand reach, visibility, and audience growth.

You will build relationships with followers and find potential leads through Instagram interactions.

 

Responsibilities of the role:

• Monitor the company Instagram account daily and engage with new followers through direct messages.

• Welcome new followers and establish friendly interactions.

• Visit relevant follower profiles and engage with posts through likes and comments.

• Identify local gyms, fitness studios, sports organizations, and businesses around the two locations.

• Research potential brand ambassadors, influencers, and community partners to invite them to collaborate.

• Engage with audiences of major local gyms and other relevant accounts to increase visibility.

• Interact with approximately 56 relevant accounts per day through likes, comments, and engagement activities.

• Monitor Instagram direct messages and identify potential leads interested in physical therapy or performance training.

• Collect contact information from interested prospects and transfer leads to the administrative team.

• Maintain and update an activity tracker to document daily engagement, outreach, leads, and results.

• Use Asana to organize assigned tasks, track daily activities, and ensure targets are completed.

• Communicate with the team through Slack regarding daily activities, progress, and potential leads.

• Identify opportunities to improve organic engagement, visibility, and follower growth.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in social media management, Instagram account management, or community management.

• Experience growing social media accounts through organic engagement strategies.

• Strong written communication skills and the ability to write natural and personalized messages.

• Good understanding of Instagram engagement practices, audience interaction, and community building.

• Experience managing direct messages and identifying potential leads.

• Ability to research relevant accounts, businesses, and potential collaboration opportunities.

• Ability to follow daily activity targets and maintain consistent engagement.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Instagram community management.

• Experience engaging with local businesses, gyms, fitness studios, or potential brand ambassadors.

• Familiarity with lead generation through social media.

• Experience using Asana for task management and Slack for team communication.

• Experience using activity trackers, spreadsheets, or reporting systems.

• Understanding of organic social media growth strategies.

• Previous experience working with fitness, sports, healthcare, or wellness brands.
