Job Description:

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior NetSuite Developer. You will lead and support the development, customization, integration, and improvement of their business systems. You need extensive experience with Oracle NetSuite. You also need hands-on knowledge of Celigo integration tools. Experience integrating NetSuite with Shopify and other business applications is required. This role focuses on improving system functions, making business processes smoother, keeping integrations working well, and ensuring accurate data flow. This includes e-commerce, inventory, order management, and financial systems.

You will play a key role in making sure business systems work together efficiently. You will support business growth with scalable technical solutions and reliable system integrations.

 

Responsibilities of the role:

• Design, develop, customize, and maintain Oracle NetSuite solutions.

• Develop and maintain SuiteScript solutions, including SuiteScript 2.x.

• Customize NetSuite records, forms, fields, workflows, saved searches, and reports.

• Build and maintain scripts, scheduled processes, and automated business workflows.

• Develop and maintain Suitelets, RESTlets, User Event scripts, and Client scripts.

• Troubleshoot technical issues and improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of existing solutions.

• Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.

• Maintain clear technical documentation for customizations, scripts, and system changes.

• Develop, configure, monitor, and maintain integrations using Celigo integrator.io.

• Build and optimize integration flows between NetSuite, Shopify, and other business applications.

• Manage data synchronization for orders, customers, products, inventory, fulfillment, and financial transactions.

• Troubleshoot integration failures, data mapping issues, and synchronization errors.

• Implement error-handling processes, logging, monitoring, and recovery procedures.

• Optimize integration flows to improve data accuracy, processing speed, and reliability.

• Maintain integration documentation and ensure changes are tested before deployment.

• Maintain and improve the integration between Shopify and NetSuite.

• Ensure accurate synchronization of product information, inventory levels, customer records, and sales orders.

• Support order processing, fulfillment updates, cancellations, returns, refunds, and related workflows.

• Troubleshoot discrepancies between Shopify transactions and NetSuite records.

• Improve automation across e-commerce order management and back-office operations.

• Collaborate with e-commerce and operations teams to identify opportunities for improved system functionality.

• Support additional Shopify-related integrations and custom development.

• Analyze existing workflows and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation.

• Develop solutions that support inventory management, order processing, purchasing, fulfillment, and financial operations.

• Improve data consistency and reduce manual entry across connected systems.

• Collaborate with finance, inventory, e-commerce, and operations teams to understand system requirements.

• Recommend improvements to NetSuite configuration, integrations, and business processes.

• Help ensure systems can support increasing transaction volumes and business growth.

• Investigate and resolve complex NetSuite, Celigo, and Shopify integration issues.

• Perform unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing support.

• Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues.

• Manage system updates, code changes, deployments, and ongoing maintenance.

• Follow development best practices, including version control, change management, and technical documentation.

• Ensure system changes are implemented carefully to minimize disruption to business operations.

• Provide technical support and guidance to internal stakeholders.

• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define technical solutions.

• Lead complex development and integration projects from planning through implementation.

• Provide recommendations on system architecture, integration design, and automation opportunities.

• Communicate technical issues and solutions clearly to non-technical team members.

• Help establish development standards and maintain the quality of technical solutions.

• Identify opportunities to improve system reliability, scalability, and long-term maintainability.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Significant professional experience as a NetSuite Developer or in a comparable senior ERP development role.

• Strong knowledge of Oracle NetSuite customization, development, and administration.

• Hands-on experience with SuiteScript 2.x and NetSuite APIs.

• Proven experience developing and maintaining integrations using Celigo integrator.io.

• Practical experience integrating NetSuite with Shopify.

• Strong understanding of REST APIs, web services, data mapping, and integration architecture.

• Experience working with JSON, XML, and other data exchange formats.

• Understanding of ERP workflows, including order management, inventory, fulfillment, and financial transactions.

• Experience troubleshooting complex system and integration issues.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

• Ability to translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions.

• Excellent documentation, communication, and project management skills.

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical projects.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience supporting e-commerce or direct-to-consumer businesses.

• Experience with Shopify order management, product catalogs, inventory synchronization, and fulfillment workflows.

• Familiarity with NetSuite financials, purchasing, inventory management, and warehouse-related processes.

• Experience with additional integration platforms, middleware, or third-party APIs.

• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

• Experience with sandbox environments, deployment processes, and release management.

• NetSuite certifications or relevant technical certifications.

• Experience managing high-volume e-commerce transactions and complex system integrations.
