We are seeking a Shopify Specialist to manage, maintain, and optimize our client's Shopify store. This role involves correcting existing issues, preventing new errors, uploading products, managing inventory, fixing pricing and discount discrepancies, and ensuring the store is always campaign-ready. You will work closely with the Operations Director and report directly to her. This is initially a part-time position of approximately 20 hours per week, with the potential to transition to full-time based on performance and business needs after a 3-month trial period.

• Ensure all product listings are accurate, visually appealing, and aligned with the brand's fashion identity.

• Proactively audit the store to catch and resolve issues before they impact marketing campaigns or sales.

• Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure the store is fully prepared for new product launches and promotional campaigns.

• Make theme customizations using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as needed.

• Integrate and maintain third-party apps (e.g., Klaviyo for email marketing, review apps, etc.).

• Document all changes, issues, and resolutions clearly for internal reference.

• Provide proactive recommendations to improve the store's user experience, conversion rate, and operational efficiency.

• Work directly with leadership and follow internal processes for store management and quality control.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Advanced English proficiency, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience managing Shopify stores.

• Deep understanding of Shopify's backend, including product management, collections, discounts, and inventory settings.

• Experience working with fashion, apparel, or lifestyle DTC brands.

• Strong knowledge of Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Experience with Shopify Online Store 2.0, metafields, and custom sections.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and take full ownership of store operations.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing business environment.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience working directly with fashion brands or in the apparel e-commerce space.

• Experience with Klaviyo, Google Analytics, and other e-commerce marketing tools.

• Familiarity with SEO best practices for Shopify stores.

• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, or Notion).

• Background in visual merchandising or product presentation for fashion.

Personality:

• Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated professional who takes pride in delivering flawless work.

• Proactive problem-solver who doesn't wait for issues to escalate before taking action.

• Reliable and accountable, with a strong sense of ownership over the store's performance.

• Collaborative and communicative, comfortable providing updates and recommendations to leadership.

• Calm under pressure and able to manage urgent store issues with efficiency and professionalism.

Software & Tools:

• Shopify (required)
