Job Description:

Our Client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance and Accounting Analyst with strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and proficient Excel skills. The ideal candidate will bring a solid foundation in accounting principles, experience in bookkeeping, and financial analysis. This role involves bookkeeping, financial reporting, and generating ad hoc reports to support finance operations.

 

Responsibilities:

• Partner with outsourced bookkeeping firm to verify day-to-day bookkeeping activities and develop reconciliation reports.

• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.

• Conduct financial analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.

• Generate ad hoc reports, including weekly remittance reports using CRM/ERP data.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution.

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial analysis.

• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.

• Excellent communication skills with strong English proficiency (written and verbal).

• Advanced Excel skills (case interview required).

• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.

 

Preferred Skills:

• CPA-equivalent certification (nice to have, but not required).

• Experience with Hubspot, Xero, and Sage Intacct (strongly preferred).

• Experience working in the Clean Energy Industry.

 

Personality:

• Detail-oriented and analytical thinker.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

 

Software & Tools:

• Experience with Hubspot, Xero, and Sage Intacct is strongly preferred.
