Job Description:

Our client is looking for a Senior Accountant with Controller Level Skills to manage and oversee all financial operations. This hands-on role requires a deep understanding of business performance beyond bookkeeping, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.

 

Responsibilities:

• Own full-cycle accounting, including Accounts Payable/Receivable, General Ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close.

• Maintain accurate, audit-ready financial records and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Manage cash flow forecasting and financial planning.

• Develop and enforce financial controls and processes.

• Monitor business performance, margins, and cost structure.

• Identify risks, inefficiencies, and financial leakage.

• Support leadership with budgeting and forecasting.

• Analyze financial and operational data to drive decision-making.

• Build and maintain financial dashboards and reports.

• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue, customer acquisition costs, margins, and operating costs.

• Manage all banking relationships and reconciliations.

• Oversee credit card transaction flows in a no-cash environment.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• CPA with controller-level skills preferred.

• 5+ years of experience in accounting/finance roles, with U.S. business experience required.

• Strong understanding of GAAP principles.

• Advanced experience with QuickBooks Online.

• Proven experience in financial analysis and business performance reporting.

• Expert level in Excel for modeling, forecasting, and tracking.

• Experience managing credit card-only revenue environments.

• Advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and analysis.

Schedule:

9-5:30 PST

 

Salary and Benefits:

• Payment in USD or Local Currency according to candidate's preference.

• Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5:30 pm Pacific.
