Job Title: Technical Project Manager

Our client is a fractional CTO partnership for scaling businesses ranging from $10M to $100M. They work closely with clients as their technology team focusing on strategy, architecture, and hands-on implementation. They are not a dev shop but engage in long-term retainer partnerships. Their clientele includes e-commerce brands, membership platforms, service businesses, and PE-backed growth companies.

 

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Technical Project Manager to oversee client relationships and delivery coordination. The role is crucial for allowing the founder to concentrate on architecture, sales, and growth. You will be the main point of contact for the clients, translating their needs into actionable tasks and managing expectations effectively.

 

Responsibilities:

• Manage all client communications including weekly syncs, emails, and status updates.

• Oversee ClickUp board management for task triage, prioritization, and sprint planning.

• Translate client requests into developer tasks and manage scope.

• Prepare for and recap meetings.

• Handle client onboarding from day one.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Experience in a client-facing role within a service, agency, consulting, or customer success environment.

• Technically fluent, able to follow technical conversations and spot bad estimates.

• Proficient in business-first communication, explaining technical trade-offs without jargon.

• AI-native workflow experience is mandatory.

• Ability to learn new platforms quickly.

• Ability to act as a translator between developers and clients.

• Strong pushback skills, presenting trade-offs to clients.

• Autonomous with a hunger for career growth.

• Comfortable working in small teams and remote environments.

 

Personality:

• Able to build trust with both developers and clients.

• Proactive in managing time and surfacing problems early.

• Eager to grow and take ownership in a small team setting.

 

Software & Tools:

• Experience with AI tools in project management and communication.

• Familiarity with platforms like Supabase, HubSpot, Shopify, n8n, and custom Next.js apps is an advantage.

 

English Level:

C2, Native

 

Schedule:

9 - 5 EST

• Remote position, US-based. Availability required during Eastern Time business hours for client calls.
