What You’ll Do:

Business Development Representative

 

Core Responsibilities:

• Proactively engage and nurture inbound and dormant leads to convert them into booked marine service jobs.

• Contact leads in the database who have not purchased this year.

• Respond rapidly to new leads generated through paid advertising campaigns.

• Reach out to high-intent website visitors who did not convert.

• Qualify prospects and identify vessel/service needs.

• Educate prospects on marina services, membership plans, and offers.

• Overcome objections and close service bookings.

• Coordinate with the operations team for scheduling and quote handoff.

• Maintain CRM updates and lead status accuracy.

• Execute structured follow-up sequences until lead is closed or lost.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• 2 years in sales, closing, or business development.

• Strong phone and consultative selling skills.

• Fluent in English; Spanish preferred.

• Comfortable using CRM, email, WhatsApp, and sales software.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with high-ticket services.

• Marine/boating industry knowledge.

 

Personality:

• Highly proactive and persuasive.

• Strong urgency and follow-up discipline.

• Motivated by commissions and performance.

• Builds trust quickly and can sell value over price.
