Job Description:

Our Client is seeking a mid-level Grant Writer to support funding efforts by researching, writing, and managing grant proposals aligned with the organization’s mission and programs. This role is ideal for an experienced grant professional with a proven track record of securing funding and the ability to manage multiple deadlines independently. This is a part-time position, working approximately 15–20 hours per week, with the potential to scale based on results and workload.

 

Responsibilities:

• Research and identify grant opportunities aligned with organizational programs and mission.

• Write, edit, and submit high-quality grant proposals to federal, state, and foundation funders.

• Develop compelling narratives that translate program outcomes into funder-ready language.

• Collaborate on budgets, logic models, and supporting grant documentation.

• Manage grant timelines, deadlines, and submission requirements.

• Support post-award reporting and compliance with funder requirements as needed.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of professional grant writing experience.

• Proven track record of securing grant funding, including grants of $50K or more.

• Experience with federal, state, and foundation grants.

• Strong research and analytical skills to identify relevant funding opportunities.

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines with minimal supervision.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in workforce development, education, or community impact sectors.

• Familiarity with logic models and outcome-based reporting.

• Experience working with budgets and financial components of grant applications.

• Exposure to workforce-related or government grant programs.

 

Personality:

• Self-directed and highly organized.

• Detail-oriented with strong time management skills.

• Results-driven and deadline-focused.

• Strong written communicator with the ability to adapt tone to different funders.

 

Software & Tools:

• Grant research databases

• Document and spreadsheet tools

• Project or task management tools

 

English Level:

C2, Native

 

Schedule:

9 AM - 5 PM EST
