Job Description:
Our Client is seeking a proactive and results-driven Marketing & Lead Generation Specialist to support the growth of their catering business. This role focuses on outbound communication, lead generation, and sales-oriented marketing efforts, particularly targeting opportunities such as weddings, university events, and local business catering. This is a remote position requiring a self-managed professional who can generate leads, conduct outreach, and help convert opportunities into booked catering services.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct outbound outreach via phone calls and email campaigns
• Generate new leads independently (e.g., venues, universities, medical offices, event organizers)
• Follow up on inbound inquiries and existing leads
• Present catering services professionally to potential clients
• Draft and send marketing emails to prospective customers
• Research and identify new business opportunities (e.g., wedding expos, local events)
• Maintain and update a lead tracking system (e.g., spreadsheets or CRM)
• Collaborate with internal team members, including social media staff
• Participate in daily check-ins and provide progress updates
• Support closing of catering deals and contribute to revenue growth
Required Experience and Qualifications:
• At least 1–2 years of experience in sales, lead generation, or cold calling
• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken)
• Experience with outbound sales activities (calls, emails, follow-ups)
• Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision
• Comfortable generating leads independently
• Basic organizational skills to track leads and activities
• General work experience demonstrating reliability and accountability
Preferred Skills:
• Background in marketing or business-related fields
• Experience in the food, hospitality, or events industry
• Familiarity with lead generation tools or CRM systems
• Experience working with remote teams
