Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and aesthetically driven Social Media Assistant to support our client’s digital presence. This is a fully remote position with flexible hours, ideally suited for candidates based in LATAM. The role involves publishing pre-created content on various platforms, maintaining brand consistency, and fostering light engagement with followers. Opportunities to expand into paid ads or web design are available for candidates with the right skill set.

 

Responsibilities:

Publish content provided by the client across social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)

Schedule posts consistently and according to the client’s calendar

Monitor engagement and respond to comments/messages when appropriate

Maintain a cohesive brand voice and visual style

(Optional) Assist in managing basic Meta Ads campaigns

(Optional) Collaborate on a future website revamp project

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

Prior experience managing social media accounts professionally

Proficiency with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Buffer, Later, Meta Business Suite)

Strong sense of visual aesthetics and attention to detail

Excellent communication skills in English

 

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Meta Ads or similar platforms for basic campaign management

Basic website design experience using Wix, Squarespace, or WordPress

Familiarity with community-building or engagement strategies on social media

 

Personality:

Organized and reliable with strong attention to deadlines

Friendly and responsive in communication

Flexible, self-motivated, and open to learning new tools or platforms

 

Software & Tools:

Buffer, Later, or Meta Business Suite

Optional: Meta Ads Manager

Optional: Wix, Squarespace, or WordPress

Schedule:

9AM - 5PM PST Monday and Tuesday
