Job Description:
We’re looking for a proactive and strategic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help our client drive qualified meetings with school and district decision-makers. This is a high-impact outbound role that combines thoughtful outreach, strategic prospecting, and consistent follow-up to fuel a strong sales pipeline. If you thrive on building relationships, are passionate about education, and understand how to leverage modern sales tools and automation to increase efficiency, this could be a great fit.
Responsibilities:
Identify and research decision-makers within schools and districts across the targeted region to sell them the service.
Conduct high-volume outbound outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn to generate interest and schedule qualified meetings.
Make phone calls regularly as part of the outreach strategy.
Qualify leads effectively.
Collaborate with marketing teams to refine messaging and outreach sequences.
Track outreach activities and lead interactions in the CRM with high accuracy.
Consistently meet or exceed monthly meeting targets.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in outbound sales, sales development, or business development.
Proven experience selling to schools or districts.
Proven experience successfully booking meetings through outbound funnels.
Fluent in written and spoken English with excellent communication skills.
Strong research capabilities for targeting school and district leaders.
Comfortable using CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
Preferred Skills:
Experience in the EdTech, SaaS, or education services industry.
Prior experience engaging with K–12 education institutions.
Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and outbound sequencing tools.
Insight into optimizing sales funnels and lead conversion strategies.
Personality:
Self-motivated and persistent with a hunger to succeed.
Adaptable and always testing new approaches to improve results.
Highly organized with strong time management skills.
Collaborative and team-oriented, with a mindset toward shared success.
