About the Company:

Our client is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to support the production of content for her Instagram account.

 

Job Description:

The Social Media Video Editor will be responsible for editing short-form video content and creating engaging social media assets for Instagram. The initial workload will include approximately 3 videos and 1 carousel per week, with the potential to increase to 7–10 videos per week as the content strategy expands. The ideal candidate will have experience editing short-form content, particularly videos featuring green screen effects, and a strong understanding of social media content styles and trends.

 

Responsibilities of the role:

• Edit short-form videos for Instagram, typically ranging from 30 to 60 seconds.

• Produce approximately 3 videos and 1 carousel per week initially.

• Potentially scale production to 7–10 videos per week.

• Edit green screen videos and ensure clean, professional visual integration.

• Create engaging, visually appealing content aligned with the client's personal brand.

• Add captions, transitions, graphics, and other elements as needed.

• Collaborate with the client to understand content requirements and incorporate feedback.

• Ensure all content is delivered on time and optimized for Instagram.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Previous experience editing short-form social media content.

• Experience with Instagram Reels and similar vertical video formats.

• Experience editing green screen videos.

• Strong attention to detail and creativity.

• Ability to create engaging content within short formats.

• Good understanding of social media trends and best practices.

• Ability to work independently and meet weekly deadlines.

• Strong communication skills and responsiveness during agreed working hours.

 

Schedule:

Part-time, approximately 3–5 hours per week, with the potential to increase as the content volume grows.

The candidate should be available to collaborate during MST (Mountain Standard Time) business hours.
