Job Title: Trademark Paralegal

Job Description:

Our client seeks a Trademark Paralegal with a robust background in handling trademark and copyright applications. The position is part-time, approximately 20-25 hours per week, with the potential to transition to full-time depending on the candidate's fit and performance.

 

Responsibilities:

• Handle and file USPTO trademark applications and related communications.

• Assist with U.S. Copyright applications and associated paperwork.

• Manage TTAB proceedings and maintain docketing systems.

• Conduct legal research; experience in Westlaw is a plus.

• Draft responses to USPTO Office Actions.

• File matters in federal courts, if applicable.

• Participate in new client intake and onboarding processes.

• Maintain exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Provide 5-star service with a proactive and positive attitude.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.

• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.

• Experience with AI tools and technology.

• Training in data protection and cybersecurity.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Lawmatics and CLIO.

• Strong team player with a positive attitude.

• Proactive with a focus on providing exceptional service.
