They collaborate with international factories, primarily in China, and aim to streamline their supply chain and sourcing operations with the support of skilled professionals from Latin America.

 

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Logistics & Sourcing Manager to join their remote team. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in Shopify-based e-commerce operations, product sourcing, and supplier negotiations—especially with Chinese manufacturers. The role emphasizes strategic oversight over day-to-day execution, requiring someone confident in managing supplier relationships and driving sourcing decisions.

 

Responsibilities:

Oversee product sourcing operations and coordinate with sourcing team members.

Manage supplier relationships and negotiate pricing, MOQ, and product specifications.

Make informed product decisions (e.g., quality comparisons, supplier selection).

Collaborate with Chinese factories and international teams to optimize sourcing.

Utilize Google Sheets extensively for tracking, comparison, and reporting.

Participate in key sourcing decisions without handling logistics execution directly.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

Proven experience working with Shopify brands (not Amazon).

Hands-on background in product sourcing and factory negotiation, especially in China.

High-level proficiency with Google Sheets, including use of formulas and data analysis.

Clear spoken and written English skills (approx. 7–8 out of 10 fluency).

Ability to work independently and guide decision-making in sourcing processes.

 

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with supplier networks in Asia and global supply chain workflows.

Portuguese or Spanish as a secondary language is a plus but not required.

Prior experience in a strategic sourcing, logistics coordination, or e-commerce operations role.
