Job Description:
Our Client is seeking an IT professional to contribute to strategic planning and hands-on execution of technology initiatives. The role involves providing technical support, managing IT resources, and implementing security best practices to foster the organization's growth.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with leadership to plan and organize the company's technology infrastructure, including employee devices, software, and networking systems.
• Install, configure, and maintain technology systems, including software provisioning and applications.
• Manage infrastructure in AWS cloud with extensive experience.
• Diagnose and resolve technical hardware, software, and network issues, offering timely and effective support.
• Assist in developing and implementing IT policies and procedures to secure company systems and data.
• Support the development of an employee IT ticketing system and contribute to the help desk function.
• Provide input for the IT budget and manage procurement of hardware, software, and other IT resources.
• Train and support employees on IT systems, software, and security protocols.
• Contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure technology systems' availability during disruptions.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending new technology solutions to management.
• Prepare the company for compliance needs, such as SOC2 or ISO 27001, and monitor IT systems for security threats.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT procedures, system configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets, including hardware, software licenses, and cloud services.
• Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers for IT-related services, hardware, and software.
• Develop and implement scripts or automation tools to enhance IT operations and efficiency.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
• Proven experience in managing AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Strong technical support and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to develop and implement IT policies and procedures.
• Experience in training employees on IT systems and security protocols.
Preferred Skills:
• Familiarity with IT compliance standards such as SOC2 or ISO 27001.
• Experience with IT ticketing systems and help desk functions.
• Ability to develop automation tools to streamline IT operations.
Personality:
• Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying and resolving technical issues.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Adaptable to changing technologies and industry trends.
