Our Client is a property management company based in California, managing approximately 400 units, including single-family homes and apartment buildings. The company is focused on providing reliable, responsive, and professional management services to both property owners and tenants.

 

Job Description:

Our Client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Maintenance Coordinator to join their team. This role is critical in ensuring that maintenance requests are handled promptly and efficiently, maintaining tenant satisfaction and property condition.

 

Responsibilities:

• Receive and process incoming maintenance work orders through AppFolio and other channels.

• Assign work orders to the appropriate vendors or technicians within 24 hours.

• Communicate with tenants to confirm receipt of requests and provide updates.

• Notify property owners regarding significant maintenance issues.

• Monitor the status of open work orders, following up regularly with vendors and tenants.

• Collect and verify completion documentation (photos, invoices) before closing work orders.

• Maintain detailed notes and updates in AppFolio to ensure a complete paper trail.

• Provide quick responses during business hours and occasional light on-call support for urgent weekend requests.

• Collaborate with the property management team to resolve maintenance issues efficiently.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Prior experience in property management or maintenance coordination is a plus (training provided if not).

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

• Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal).

• Tech-savvy, with the ability to use property management software (experience with AppFolio preferred).

• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

• Ability to show empathy and professionalism when dealing with tenants.

• Comfortable working independently with accountability for results.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Strong interpersonal skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

 

Personality:

• Detail-oriented and responsive.

• Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

 

Software & Tools:

• AppFolio and other property management software.

 

English Level:

C1, C2, Native

 

Schedule:

9 AM - 5 PM PST

 

Salary and Benefits:

Payment in USD or Local Currency according to candidate's preference.
