They specialize in humanitarian cases, family-based immigration, and removal defense, supported by a dedicated remote legal team across Latin America.
Job Description:
Our Client is seeking a Senior Immigration Paralegal (EOIR & USCIS) to join their growing remote team in Latin America. The ideal candidate will lead and supervise high-volume EOIR/USCIS casework, ensuring top-quality documentation, compliance, and client experience.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and execute advanced EOIR motion practice, including bond, reopen, terminate, and re-calendar motions.
• Oversee and strategize filings for SIJS, waivers (I-212, I-601, I-601A), and humanitarian cases (U-Visa, VAWA, MIL-PIP).
• Supervise and mentor VA team members, assign tasks, review drafts and evidence, and ensure quality control.
• Maintain detailed records in E-Immigration, including notes, tasks, ticklers, and document tracking.
• Coordinate clear and timely client communication via CaseStatus and email.
• Assemble complete and attorney-ready packages for filing, whether by mail, courier, or e-filing.
• Provide proactive, empathetic client updates and guidance throughout the process.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in U.S. immigration law, focusing on EOIR and USCIS cases.
• Proven ability to handle motions, waivers, and humanitarian filings.
• Excellent legal writing and documentation skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and quality-control abilities.
• Fluent in Spanish and professional-level English.
• Reliable internet connection, quiet workspace, and disciplined time management using Time Doctor.
• Commitment to confidentiality and accurate recordkeeping.
Preferred Skills:
• Familiarity with E-Immigration (Cerenade), CaseStatus, Google Workspace, VXT, and AI productivity tools.
• Experience supervising or training remote legal assistants or paralegals.
• Comfort with structured workflow systems, task automation, and digital documentation.
Personality:
