What You’ll Do:

Our client is seeking a skilled developer to build a high-performance, SEO-optimized web application that serves over 100 million legal case records as individually indexable pages. The platform must support server-side rendering, structured data, automated sitemap generation, and maintain sub-2-second page loads.

 

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop a web application using Next.js with server-side rendering capabilities.

• Implement a scalable platform to handle high traffic volumes.

• Ensure all case records are accessible via unique, semantic URLs.

• Integrate structured data and automated XML sitemap generation.

• Ensure compliance with Core Web Vitals and mobile-responsive design.

• Collaborate with teams to connect related content through an internal linking system.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in developing SEO-optimized applications.

• Proficiency in Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.

• Experience with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.

• Familiarity with search engines like Meilisearch or Elasticsearch.

• Experience in using caching mechanisms, particularly with Redis.

• Knowledge of server-side rendering and static site generation.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in integrating with Cloudflare or similar CDN.

• Familiarity with ORM tools like Prisma or Drizzle.

• Understanding of performance metrics and optimization.
