Job Title: Software Quality Tester

Our client is a growing staffing solutions provider specializing in IT and support roles across Latin America. They work with major US-based clients to fill critical technical and functional positions.

 

Job Description:

We are looking for a Software Quality Tester to join our client’s team. The role focuses on conducting functional testing for supply chain and service contract management systems. This position is remote, with occasional in-office meetings when required.

 

Responsibilities:

Perform functional, BAT, and UAT testing for supply chain and service contract management systems.

Work closely with US-based stakeholders to ensure test requirements are met.

Identify, document, and track defects and process improvements.

Provide test execution reports and support troubleshooting efforts.

Ensure all testing aligns with business and technical specifications.

Analyze business requirements and draft test scenarios.

Collaborate with business and end-user teams to understand end-to-end business processes.

Attend daily scrum and sync-up meetings to provide updates.

Work in an Agile environment, following Agile principles and ceremonies.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

4+ years of experience in functional testing, BAT, and UAT.

Strong knowledge of Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Service Contract Management.

Hands-on experience with PL/SQL for database queries.

Technical and functional knowledge of Oracle Order Management, Inventory, SCM, and Finance modules in Oracle R12.

Experience working on Agile projects.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency in English (C1 preferred; strong comprehension required).

 

Preferred Skills:

Experience assisting with Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Familiarity with working in dual-shore team structures and multi-vendor team environments.

Ability to drive execution and delivery of testing initiatives.

Strong communication and leadership skills.
