About the Company:

Our client is involved in real estate transactions, focusing on short sale processes, and providing comprehensive support from listing administration to transaction coordination.

 

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Spanish/English bilingual short sale negotiator to manage the entire short sale process. This role requires taking ownership from initiation through closing, while also supporting listing administration and transaction coordination to ensure smooth operations.

 

Responsibilities:

• Short Sale Negotiation (Primary Responsibility):

- Open and maintain short sale files with lenders/servicers.

- Manage authorizations for communication with banks.

- Collect and compile seller documents into a complete package.

- Submit packages through various channels and confirm receipt.

- Maintain follow-up cadence and document all interactions.

- Coordinate BPO/appraisals and support with necessary information.

- Track document expiration and manage re-submissions.

- Communicate approval terms and coordinate required items for closing.

 

• Listing Administration (Support):

- MLS data entry and updates.

- Coordinate photos and organize listing documents.

- Handle basic communication with sellers and buyer agents.

 

• Transaction Coordination (Support):

- Open escrow/title and manage required documents.

- Coordinate communications among relevant parties.

- Provide weekly status updates and maintain a clean file from contract to close.

- Assist with routing final HUD/CD for lender approval.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience with short sale workflows and lender follow-up.

• Bilingual in Spanish and English (written and spoken).

• Highly organized and accurate with documentation.

• Strong phone presence and consistent follow-through.

• Proficient in using Google Drive/Docs, e-sign, and CRM/transaction platforms.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in real estate or related fields.

• Familiarity with Pacific Time business hours.

 

Personality:

• Detail-oriented and proactive.

• Strong communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 

Software & Tools:

• Google Drive/Docs

• E-sign platforms

• CRM/transaction platforms

 

English Level:

C2, Native

 

Schedule:

9 - 1 PST
