Finance Support Specialist - Part-Time

Are you an experienced finance professional looking for a flexible part-time role in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry? Our client, a growing company in the food and beverage sector, is seeking a skilled Finance Support Specialist to join their team on a part-time basis.

About the Role:

As a Finance Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing financial models, analyzing data, and supporting various finance-related tasks. This position offers the flexibility of remote work with part-time hours.

Availability:

• Part-Time (approximately 15 hours per week)

Work Schedule:

• Flexible (must have some availability during 9-5 CT for communication)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain complex financial models for various scenarios
• Create and update scorecards for tracking retail sales
• Manage and analyze data using Google Sheets and Excel
• Identify financial opportunities and concerns, communicating them effectively to the team
• Handle Accounts Receivable, including customer communication and collections
• Manage Accounts Payable using bill.com and update cashflow spreadsheets
• Work with specialized retail sales tracking platforms
• Develop processes for uploading and managing sales data from distributors

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in finance
• Expert-level English proficiency (C2 level)
• Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
• Experience with financial modeling and data analytics
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle data-heavy tasks efficiently
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with retail sales tracking platforms (e.g., TurnTree)
• Background in the food and beverage industry (preferably in the CPG industry)
• Familiarity with bill.com or similar AP/AR management systems
