Job Description:


We are seeking a highly motivated Industrial Sales Representative with a strong background in industrial equipment sales, logistics coordination, and customer relationship management. The ideal candidate is self-disciplined, proactive, and adaptable with strong research and technical skills.

Our client is a leading industrial export trading company specializing in providing industrial equipment, heavy machinery, automotive parts, and power generation solutions. Operating much like an "Amazon of the industrial world," they supply essential parts and materials to developing regions that rely on imports to maintain critical infrastructure such as airports, seaports, and construction projects. With a strong commitment to efficiency, customer service, and adaptability, our client takes pride in being the lifeline for businesses in these regions.

 

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time, 40 hours/week (Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM EST)

 

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Engage in sales activities related to industrial equipment, heavy equipment, automotive parts, and power generation.
  • Conduct outbound calls to potential and existing clients, including cold outreach.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Assist customers in identifying and purchasing parts based on their requirements.
  • Respond to inquiries with timely, cost-effective solutions that align with the company’s product offerings.
  • Coordinate logistics, procurement, and delivery of industrial parts and equipment.
  • Work with suppliers and freight services to ensure timely shipping and inventory updates.
  • Conduct market research to locate necessary parts and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Work closely with engineers and technical staff to ensure product compatibility and customer requirements.
  • Utilize CRM platforms such as Zoho, Odoo ERP, or equivalent for tracking sales and customer interactions.
  • Maintain QuickBooks records for financial transactions related to sales (preferred but not required).
  • Adapt to and learn new software tools as needed for sales and customer management.
  • Work with logistics, sales, and engineering teams to achieve sales targets.
  • Provide regular sales performance reports to management.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in industrial sales, mechanical engineering, or machinery repairs.
  • Strong understanding of construction, heavy equipment, automotive, and industrial equipment.
  • Computer literacy with the ability to research and source industrial parts online.
  • Experience using CRM software such as Zoho, Odoo, or similar.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Self-disciplined, productive, and proactive.
  • Strong research and problem-solving skills.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with industrial certifications such as ASCI ASC or Caterpillar certifications.
  • Previous experience in logistics coordination.
  • QuickBooks experience preferred.

 

Language Requirement:

  • Fluent English (C2+) with strong communication skills.

 

Salary and Benefits:
