Job Title: Intake Specialist

 

Position Description:

We are seeking a personable and detail-oriented Intake Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for clients. In this role, you will handle phone calls, gather client information, and perform follow-ups while providing outstanding customer service. This part-time position requires availability for specific hours each week and is ideal for candidates with a background in customer-facing roles.

 

About the Company:

Our client is a law firm specializing in corporate transactional law and criminal defense. They provide tailored legal services to startups, tech companies, and small businesses, as well as representing clients in criminal defense cases. The firm’s commitment to personalized service and strong community connections sets them apart. Their goal is to deliver exceptional results, helping clients navigate legal challenges with confidence.

 

Schedule:

  • Part-Time: 8 hours per week to start.

  • Hours: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM EST, Wednesdays and Fridays.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally.

  • Collect detailed client information and document inquiries accurately.

  • Conduct follow-ups with prospective and current clients as needed.

  • Maintain accurate records of client communications using the provided dialer system.

  • Support the legal team by managing intake processes and ensuring all client data is up-to-date.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience in roles such as sales, bartending, waiting tables, or similar client-facing positions.

  • Empathetic and professional phone demeanor.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

 

Language Proficiency

  • C2-level English, with excellent communication skills.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with dialer systems or similar communication tools (training will be provided).

 

Compensation:
