Job Description:

We are looking for a NYSERDA Applications Specialist to manage project applications within the State of New York’s energy program portal. This role is focused on accurately creating client profiles, inputting detailed project data, and preparing complete application packets for submission. It is a data entry-intensive position that requires precision and organization.

 

Responsibilities:

• Create client profiles in the New York State NYSERDA portal.

• Input all relevant project data into the NYSERDA CRM system.

• Prepare and organize complete application packets for submission.

• Ensure all information entered complies with program requirements.

• Keep organized digital records of submissions and related documentation.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• No prior background experience required.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.

• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with online portals.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with data entry in CRM or portal-based systems.

• Familiarity with state or government program documentation.

 

Personality:

• Detail-focused and precise in work execution.

• Reliable and able to work independently.

• Comfortable with repetitive and structured data entry tasks.

 

Software & Tools:

• NYSERDA portal (State of New York CRM system).

• Standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).

 

English Level:

• C2

 

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday 9am -5pm EST
