Job Description:

Our Client is seeking a full-time Shopify Developer to join their team and take ownership of developing, maintaining, and optimizing Shopify-based e-commerce stores. This role is ideal for a developer who is detail-oriented, performance-driven, and experienced in building custom Shopify solutions that enhance user experience and conversion rates.

 

Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes and storefronts.

• Implement custom features using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Optimize store performance, responsiveness, and user experience.

• Integrate third-party apps, APIs, and custom Shopify apps when needed.

• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and compatibility problems.

• Collaborate with designers, marketing, and operations teams to implement new features.

• Ensure best practices for SEO, accessibility, and site security.

• Maintain clean, well-documented, and scalable code.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Proven experience developing and maintaining Shopify stores.

• Strong proficiency in Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Experience customizing Shopify themes and templates.

• Understanding of e-commerce best practices and conversion optimization.

• Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a full-time role.

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience building or customizing Shopify apps.

• Familiarity with Shopify Plus features and workflows.

• Knowledge of SEO best practices for e-commerce.

• Experience with version control systems such as Git.

• Familiarity with performance optimization and analytics tools.

9-5 PST.
