Job Description:

Our client is looking for a Social Media Manager with strong visual and editing skills to lead the planning and execution of content across platforms like Instagram, Pinterest, and TikTok. This role combines strategy, publishing, and visual content creation—especially photo editing—ensuring the brand’s aesthetic remains polished, minimal, and aligned with each project’s creative vision.

 

Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage the publishing calendar across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and other relevant platforms.

• Select, edit, and retouch photos using Lightroom or Photoshop, ensuring consistency with the brand’s look and feel.

• Create visually cohesive grids and layouts for Instagram and moodboards for project inspiration.

• Write engaging captions that align with brand tone and storytelling strategy.

• Monitor platform performance and provide basic reporting on engagement and content reach.

• Stay up to date with social media trends and suggest creative opportunities for the brand.

• Collaborate closely with the creative team to align content delivery with client projects and launches.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of experience in social media content creation or management, ideally in a visual or creative industry.

• Proficiency with Adobe Lightroom and/or Photoshop for photo editing and retouching.

• Familiarity with content scheduling tools (e.g., Later, Planoly, or Meta Business Suite).

• Strong aesthetic sense and ability to curate visually cohesive content.

• Basic knowledge of Instagram and Pinterest content strategy.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Reels or TikTok video editing tools.

• Comfort creating visual storytelling content and writing short-form copy.

• Understanding of branding, creative direction, or art direction is a plus.

• Interest in lifestyle, fashion, or creative entrepreneurship spaces.

 

Personality:

• Highly organized with a strong sense of aesthetics.

• Independent, resourceful, and proactive in suggesting ideas.

• Flexible and comfortable working in a creative, fast-paced environment.

• Detail-oriented and committed to high visual standards.

 

Software & Tools:

• Adobe Lightroom

• Canva

• Content planning tools (e.g., Planoly, Later)

• Notion or Google Workspace
