Job Title: Financial Assistant

Position Description:

We are seeking a part-time Financial Assistant to support our client's accounting operations. The role will primarily involve handling Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and other administrative financial tasks. This position requires someone who is financially literate, detail-oriented, and has experience in managing bills and invoices. You will work closely with our financial team to ensure timely and accurate financial processing.

Availability:

• Part-time: 15 hours per week
• Preferred working hours: 3 hours in the morning PST with some flexibility

Work Schedule:

• 15 hours per week, with flexibility on timing
• Some meetings with the financial team to discuss workflow, followed by independent work

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter bills into Bill.com and process payments
• Send invoices to customers after product delivery
• Assist with administrative financial tasks as needed
• Help streamline financial processes to allow senior financial staff to focus on higher-level tasks

Requirements:

• C1 level English fluency
• Experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Financial literacy and strong attention to detail

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry
• Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively

Software and Tools:

• QuickBooks Online (QBO)
• SPS Commerce
• Bill.com
• DEAR (Cin7)
• Familiarity with these tools is highly preferred
