Appointment Setter - Commercial Insurance

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Appointment Setter to join our client's growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for expanding the company's book of business by generating leads for various types of insurance policies, targeting both new and existing clients.

Our client is a leading commercial insurance brokerage firm specializing in comprehensive solutions tailored to protect businesses of all sizes. With a deep understanding of the unique challenges companies face, they offer a range of products designed to safeguard against risks, including property damage, liability, workers' compensation, and business interruption.

Work Schedule:

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM EST

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Lead Generation: Research and identify potential clients through various sources like databases, social media, and referrals.
  • Initial Outreach: Contact prospects primarily via phone calls, emails, or social media to introduce the company's products or services and gauge their interest.
  • Scheduling Appointments: Set up meetings or calls between qualified leads and the appropriate sales representatives, ensuring that both parties are well-prepared.
  • Follow-Up: Send reminders and follow up with prospects to confirm appointments and address any preliminary questions or concerns.
  • Maintain CRM: Update and manage customer relationship management (CRM) systems with accurate and timely information on leads, calls, and appointments.
  • Meeting Targets: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for the number of appointments set.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on the number of calls made, leads generated, and appointments set to the sales manager.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • At least 6 months of experience in Appointment Setting, Frontline Sales, or similar cold calling-driven positions
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other digital tools
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Language Requirement:

  • Excellent communication skills in English.

  • Natural charisma and persuasive personality
  • Familiarity with the insurance industry highly preferred
