Job Description:

We are seeking a Part-Time Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in editing short-form content and repurposing material into multiple languages while efficiently managing a high volume of edits. If you’ve worked with online coaches, personal brands, or in the financial/credit niche before, that’s a huge plus.

 

Responsibilities of the Role:

Edit short-form video content (reels, podcasts, talking-head style videos).

Repurpose existing English content into Spanish versions, maintaining format and style.

Manage high-volume editing tasks with an emphasis on speed and quantity.

Occasionally edit higher-end travel and lifestyle footage; basic cinematography skills are a plus.

Add captions using tools like CapCut/Captions, ensuring optimization for social media platforms.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

Proven experience in video editing for social media (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts).

Ability to create engaging, viral-style edits.

Bilingual (Spanish + English) preferred due to the nature of content.

Familiarity with editing software (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar).

Strong ability to meet deadlines and handle bulk editing.

 

Preferred Skills:

Strong understanding of current social media trends and algorithms.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

 

Personality:

Creative and detail-oriented.

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Adaptable and open to feedback.

 

Software & Tools:

CapCut

Adobe Premiere Pro

Final Cut Pro

Other editing software as needed

 

English Level:

C2

 

Schedule:

20 hours a week, business hours.

 

Hiring Process:

Portfolio – Share TikTok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube Shorts you’ve edited.

Short Note – Provide a brief explanation of how you’ve helped grow other accounts and the results you’ve created.

Assessment – Complete an editing test with 2 short videos.
