About the Company:
Our client is a creative and collaborative studio space based in Seattle, built to serve a wide range of local creatives—from videographers and photographers to instructors and content creators. Their vision is to offer a flexible, multi-use environment where individuals and businesses can rent space or production services to bring their artistic ideas to life.
Job Description:
Our client is seeking a part-time Social Media Manager to take charge of their content strategy and digital engagement across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of content trends, video engagement, and community building, with a focus on driving actual studio bookings and client leads. Responsibilities:
Manage and grow social media accounts, with a focus on increasing engagement and studio bookings.
Post and schedule daily content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
Analyze content performance and adjust strategy based on engagement and conversions.
Monitor social media inboxes and comments, providing timely and professional responses.
Review and assess client portfolios to identify success metrics (e.g., growth in followers, engagement rates, lead generation).
Collaborate with videographers, photo editors, and clients to ensure alignment of visuals and brand voice.
Identify bot activity or fake engagement and avoid presenting candidates with inflated, misleading metrics.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
At least 1 year of experience managing social media accounts for a business or creative brand.
Familiarity with engagement analytics and ability to assess ROI beyond vanity metrics.
Strong written communication skills and fluent English comprehension.
Comfortable working with creatives and interpreting project goals into actionable strategies.
Ability to work part-time with flexible hours during the day (Seattle time zone preferred).
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with content studios or creative spaces.
Proficiency in Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube optimization strategies.
Understanding of online booking tools like PeerSpace or similar platforms.
Basic video editing or graphic design experience is a plus.
Personality:
Creative and visual-minded, with a passion for storytelling and aesthetics.
Data-driven thinker who values real-world results over follower count.
Proactive, highly organized, and able to work independently.
Collaborative and adaptable to feedback from studio owners and clients.
Software & Tools:
Social Media Platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)
Analytics tools (e.g., Instagram Insights, YouTube Analytics)
