Job Title: Logistics Operations Manager

 

Position Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Logistics Operations Manager to oversee and streamline our inventory, product documentation, and international shipping processes. This is a 3-month project-based role with the potential for long-term engagement based on performance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in e-commerce logistics, proficiency in relevant tools, and the ability to manage end-to-end product flow across various platforms.

Availability:

• Full-time position

 

Work Schedule:

• 9 AM – 5 PM Pacific Time
• Flexibility to stay later to overlap with Chinese offices

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Full inventory management across all platforms
• Building systems to track inventory (using API keys, automation software, and Google Suite)
• Collecting and managing all documentation related to products, imports, and exports
• Coordinating with UPS and various governments regarding imports and exports
• Projections and modeling for run rate, lead times, and inventory buying cadence
• Issuing Purchase Orders to manufacturers
• Handling incoming Purchase Orders and orders from wholesale and distributor customers
• Taking full ownership of product and inventory flow, including data, documents, and certifications
• Performing other duties as necessary and reasonable for the role

 

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in e-commerce and logistics
• International shipping experience
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Proactive and able to work independently
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets (current system)

 

Language Requirement:

• C1 Level of English Proficiency: Candidates must have strong written and verbal communication skills. While most communication will be written, occasional phone calls to suppliers and logistics partners will be required.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency with Amazon Seller Central and Shopify is preferred.
• Experience with virtual communication tools (e.g., Aircall) is a plus.

 

Salary and Benefits:

• Monthly salary range of $2150 - 2500 USD per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
• Bi-weekly payments in USD or Local Currency, according to your preference.
• Unpaid leave: To be coordinated; candidates with pre-employment vacations will be considered if the period is reasonable.
• Further benefits to be discussed after the 3-month probationary period.

 

Additional Details:

• The position is a 3-month project with a possibility of long-term engagement based on performance.
• The selected candidate will undergo a 2-3 week training and handoff period before assuming full responsibility for the role.
