Job Description:

We are looking for a Part-Time Video Editor with strong experience in multicam editing to work on various projects such as weddings, presentations, and live events. This role requires someone who can independently manage the full editing workflow—from importing footage to delivering a polished final product. This is a flexible, project-based role with variable weekly hours depending on workload.

 

Responsibilities:

• Edit multicam footage (2–5 camera angles) for events and presentations.

• Synchronize and align footage using timecode and other methods.

• Handle the complete editing workflow: importing, organizing, editing, and exporting files.

• Maintain proper file organization and clean project structures.

• Deliver high-quality, client-ready videos with minimal revisions.

• Incorporate basic graphics such as titles, captions, and end cards as needed.

• Follow provided guidelines and workflows for project consistency.

• Communicate effectively regarding project timelines and updates.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in video editing.

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.

• Strong understanding of multicam editing workflows.

• Experience with timecode synchronization and footage alignment.

• Ability to efficiently manage files, proxies, and project organization.

• Good understanding of storytelling and context in video editing.

• Strong English comprehension skills (especially for context and dialogue).

 

Preferred Skills:

• Basic graphic design skills (titles, captions, end cards).

• Experience editing weddings, live events, or music-related content.

• Understanding of humor, timing, and contextual editing decisions.

• Ability to work quickly and efficiently under deadlines.

Schedule:

10 - 20 hours, between 9-5 EST
