Our Client specializes in connecting patients with Registered Dietitians providing medical nutrition therapy and counseling. They are committed to improving health outcomes by facilitating access to professional nutritional guidance.

 

Job Description:

Our Client is seeking Appointment Setters with medical office experience to assist patients in scheduling, onboarding to the video consultation platform, and providing front-office support. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, patient-focused, and fluent in both English and Chinese (Traditional & Simplified).

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with booking appointments and managing scheduling requests.
  • Guide patients through onboarding to the virtual video consultation platform.
  • Perform front office functions such as patient intake support and information verification.
  • Communicate professionally with patients via phone, chat, or email.
  • Provide bilingual translation between English and Chinese (Traditional & Simplified) when needed.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of patient interactions and updates.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth and efficient patient experience.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a medical office or similar healthcare administrative role.
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Chinese (both Traditional and Simplified).
  • Strong technology and troubleshooting skills; comfortable working with digital platforms.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a shift scheduled anytime between 8 AM – 7 PM PST.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience supporting telehealth or video consultation platforms.
  • Background in patient coordination or appointment setting.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology.

 

Personality:

  • Patient, empathetic, and service-oriented.
  • Highly organized and reliable.
  • Tech-savvy and quick to learn new systems.
  • Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving skills.

 

Software & Tools:

  • Medical scheduling tools (varies by client).
  • Video consultation / telehealth platforms.
  • Communication tools (phone, chat, email).

 

English Level:

C2

 

Schedule:

40 hours a week between 8 AM – 7 PM PST

 

Compensation & Benefits:

Payment in USD or Local Currency according to candidate's preference.
