Job Title: Bilingual Legal Intake Coordinator / Virtual Assistant

 

About the Company:

Our client is a law firm seeking a bilingual legal support professional to assist Spanish-speaking clients and provide administrative and intake support.

 

Job Description:

The Bilingual Legal Intake Coordinator / Virtual Assistant will be responsible for handling calls with Spanish-speaking prospective clients, gathering relevant information, supporting the intake process, and communicating client details to the law firm. The ideal candidate will have a legal background, experience working with law firms, and strong English and Spanish communication skills.

This is a part-time position requiring approximately 5–10 hours per week, with the possibility of increasing over time depending on the volume of Spanish-speaking clients. The weekly workload may vary.

 

Responsibilities of the role:

• Answer calls from Spanish-speaking prospective clients.

• Conduct client intake and gather relevant personal and case information.

• Communicate and submit collected information to the client/law firm.

• Assist with outreach to Spanish-speaking prospects.

• Translate legal contracts and other documents between English and Spanish.

• Provide general administrative and virtual assistant support as needed.

• Maintain accurate and organized client information using case management software.

• Be available during regular business hours to handle calls and client-related tasks.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Legal background or experience in a legal support role.

• Previous experience working with law firms is strongly preferred.

• Experience with legal intake, client intake coordination, or similar responsibilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.

• English proficiency at a C1, C2, or native level.

• Strong Spanish communication skills, preferably with native or near-native fluency.

• Ability to translate legal contracts and other documents accurately.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and handle confidential client information.

• Experience using case management software is preferred.

• Availability during regular business hours.

 

Schedule:

Part-time, approximately 5–10 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours as the volume of Spanish-speaking clients increases.

Weekly hours may vary based on business needs.

 

Salary and Benefits:

• Payment in USD or Local Currency according to candidate's preference.
