Job Description:

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in cross-functional product environments and enjoys improving functionality, usability, and visual consistency across platforms. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with the Product Manager and development team to ensure a seamless and intuitive experience for end users.

 

Responsibilities:

• Audit and improve the existing product’s user experience and interface.

• Design intuitive and aesthetically pleasing user journeys across desktop and mobile.

• Produce wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using tools like Figma.

• Collaborate with the Product Manager and development team to align on product goals and execution.

• Optimize UX for reduced support tickets, higher conversion, and user satisfaction.

• Assist in defining and implementing cohesive design standards across the platform.

• Evaluate existing workflows and propose enhancements grounded in usability.

• Work with cross-functional teams to support new feature development and rollout.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in SaaS or web platforms.

• Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design projects.

• Proficiency in Figma (or similar tools) for design and prototyping.

• Experience working with product managers and developers in agile environments.

• Ability to conduct usability assessments and implement UX improvements.

• Solid understanding of responsive and accessible design principles.

• English proficiency sufficient for collaboration with US-based teams.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with offshore development teams.

• Ability to independently manage and prioritize multiple design projects.

• Familiarity with workforce development, edtech, or HR tech platforms is a plus.

• Knowledge of basic QA/product validation workflows.

 

Personality:

• Highly organized and detail-oriented.

• Strong communicator, comfortable working remotely across time zones.

• Analytical mindset with a creative approach to problem-solving.

• Comfortable receiving and giving feedback in collaborative settings.

• Proactive and resourceful—able to own the product experience end-to-end.

 

Software & Tools:

• Figma

• Project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana)

• Slack, Google Workspace

• QA and collaboration tools as required.

 

English Level:

C2, Native, C1

 

Schedule:

9 - 5 EST
