Job Title: FullStack Software Engineer

 

About the Company:

Our client is a technology-driven waste management company operating nationwide. They provide businesses with a powerful AI-powered quoting system that simplifies and streamlines the process of booking waste services, even for complex or large-scale needs.

 

Job Description:

This role involves collaborating with a mature technology stack while independently addressing bug fixes and feature development. A key requirement is availability during specific overlapping hours with Pacific Time.

 

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain features and fix bugs for our software product.

• Collaborate with team members via Slack and attend meetings during the overlapping hours.

• Handle large datasets to build search and metric functionalities for internal tools.

• Create and maintain RESTful APIs for custom web applications.

• Integrate Gen AI models into existing applications.

• Complete a set number of tickets each week, particularly during the trial period.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of full-time coding experience.

• Proficient in React, TypeScript, Redux, Git, and Firebase Cloudstore, and Cloud Functions.

• Experience with Elastic Search and working with large datasets.

• Strong communication skills in speaking and writing with a tolerable English accent.

• Proven ability to proactively communicate and ask clarifying questions.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with wireframing and UI/UX design; experience with Figma is a plus.

• Experience with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.

• Strong passion for learning new technologies.

 

Personality:

• Outgoing and communicative, with a proactive approach to collaboration.

• Willingness to ask questions and clarify tasks.

 

Software & Tools:

• React, TypeScript, Redux, Git, Firebase Cloudstore, Cloud Functions, Elastic Search.

 

English Level:

C1, C2, Native.

 

Schedule:

Monday to Friday 10am - 2pm PST.
