Job Description:
As a Digital Marketing Strategist / Account Manager, you will play a critical role in managing client relationships, owning account management responsibilities, planning strategic marketing initiatives, and guiding internal teams to deliver exceptional results. You will collaborate directly with clients, support cross-functional teams, and partner with Executive Leadership to determine the best paths forward.
Responsibilities of the role:
• Work 1-on-1 with clients to develop comprehensive marketing plans.
• Understand client goals, translate them into actionable strategies, and ensure deliverables align with expectations.
• Report progress to internal teams and help ensure tasks stay on track.
• Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients, building strong, trusted relationships.
• Lead regular client check-ins, status updates, and strategy conversations.
• Ensure client needs, expectations, deadlines, and priorities are clearly communicated to the internal team.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve client results, strengthen relationships, and add value.
• Support client retention by maintaining consistent communication, accountability, and a high level of service.
• Escalate client concerns, blockers, or strategic needs to leadership when appropriate.
• Coordinate with creative, content, web, paid media, and leadership teams to keep projects moving forward.
• Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and client requests to ensure work is completed accurately and on time.
• Prepare meeting agendas, recap notes, next steps, and follow-ups after client calls.
• Help manage client feedback, approvals, and scope conversations with clarity and professionalism.
• Keep internal teams aligned on priorities, responsibilities, and next steps.
• Help ensure client communications are timely, professional, and organized.
• Track project status and flag potential risks, delays, or changes in scope.
• Support and oversee email campaigns, including setup, optimization, and reporting.
• Conduct data analysis and prepare performance reports for clients and leadership.
• Assist in sales enablement efforts through strategic planning, tool setup, and content alignment.
• Provide direction or oversight on SEO, social media management, paid digital spend, and general web technologies.
• Help connect marketing performance insights to strategic client recommendations.
• Have a solid understanding of how the CRM works and how information is organized.
• Manage HubSpot to support the sales, marketing, and customer service teams.
• Set up and monitor basic automated tasks and simple processes in the CRM.
• Keep the database clean, organized, and up to date.
• Create easy-to-understand reports and dashboards to show overall progress.
• Troubleshoot common HubSpot issues and help team members use the platform effectively.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience in digital strategy, marketing management, account management, client services, or a CRM-focused role.
• Strong understanding of marketing databases, CRMs, and workflow architecture; HubSpot experience strongly preferred.
• Experience managing client relationships, expectations, timelines, and deliverables.
• Ability to translate complex data and client needs into clear, actionable plans.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for client-facing interactions.
• Familiarity with key digital marketing functions, including email, SEO, paid media, social, and web strategy.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple clients, priorities, and moving pieces.
• Ability to confidently navigate new tools, technologies, and client environments.
Preferred Skills:
• Strong HubSpot experience is highly beneficial and preferred.
Personality:
