Job Title: Recruiter / Talent Acquisition VA (Part-Time)

 

About the Company:

Our client is a rapidly growing travel agency based in the U.S. that is looking to expand its team significantly over the coming months.

 

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Recruiter VA to help identify, attract, and screen experienced travel agents across the United States.

 

Responsibilities of the role:

• Source qualified travel agent candidates through LinkedIn, Facebook, Indeed, job boards, and other recruiting platforms.

• Actively conduct outbound outreach to potential candidates.

• Perform initial screening calls to evaluate candidate experience, communication skills, and cultural fit.

• Present the company, role opportunities, and benefits to prospective candidates.

• Conduct preliminary interviews and provide recommendations to leadership.

• Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment pipelines.

• Coordinate interviews between shortlisted candidates and company leadership.

• Help improve recruiting processes and sourcing strategies.

• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience in Recruiting, Talent Acquisition, HR, or a related field.

• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).

• Experience conducting interviews and candidate screening.

• Ability to evaluate candidate qualifications and identify top talent.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Comfortable using LinkedIn, Facebook Groups, Indeed, and other sourcing platforms.

• Ability to work independently and make sound hiring recommendations.

• Professional, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience recruiting U.S.-based candidates.

• Experience recruiting in the travel industry.

• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS).

• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter or similar sourcing tools.

• Spanish language skills are a plus.

 

Personality:

• The ideal candidate is more than a resume screener. We want someone who can think critically, identify high-quality candidates, and represent our brand professionally.

 

Software & Tools:

• Comfortable using LinkedIn, Facebook Groups, Indeed, and other sourcing platforms.

 

Schedule:

Part-Time: Approximately 20 hours per week.

Preferred schedule: Monday–Friday, 4 hours per day.

Some overlap with Pacific Time (PST) business hours is preferred.

 

Salary and Benefits:

• Payment in USD or Local Currency according to candidate's preference.
