Job Description:

Our Client is seeking an experienced Medical Biller to support their billing operations on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in insurance verification, claim submissions, and managing denials and resubmissions. The position requires attention to detail, knowledge of medical billing processes, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The expected workload is approximately 6–8 hours per week, based on current needs.

 

Responsibilities:

• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits.

• Submit medical claims accurately and in a timely manner.

• Review claim rejections and denials.

• Manage denials, corrections, and resubmissions.

• Ensure compliance with insurance and billing requirements.

• Maintain accurate billing records and documentation.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Medical Biller.

• Strong knowledge of insurance verification processes.

• Hands-on experience with claim submissions and follow-ups.

• Experience handling denials and resubmissions.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience billing for in-home medical or palliative care services.

• Familiarity with common insurance payers and guidelines.

• Ability to manage a small workload efficiently.
