What You’ll Do:

Our Client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Billing Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the billing process, ensuring accurate and timely submission of claims, and addressing any billing-related inquiries.

 

Core Responsibilities:

• Process and submit medical claims to insurance companies.

• Review and verify patient information and billing data for accuracy.

• Resolve billing discrepancies and follow up on unpaid claims.

• Communicate with insurance providers regarding billing issues.

• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure accurate documentation.

• Prepare and maintain billing reports.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Medical Billing Specialist or in a similar role.

• In-depth knowledge of billing regulations and medical terminology.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with EasyClean and Therapy Notes software.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

• Strong ethical standards and professionalism.
