Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and proactive Case Worker to join our client’s legal team. This is an entry-level role ideal for candidates with a strong work ethic and eagerness to grow—no legal experience required.

You'll support legal operations and client communications, playing a vital role in the day-to-day efficiency of the firm. This position offers the opportunity for career development into Paralegal and Attorney roles for those who are ambitious and committed.

 

Responsibilities of the role:

Answer and screen incoming calls for new consultations.

Determine consultation eligibility (free or paid) based on firm policy.

Clearly explain applicable consultation fees to clients.

Schedule, confirm, and follow up on appointments.

Maintain detailed logs of all consultations and inquiries.

Respond to client calls, emails, texts, and social media messages.

Provide case updates and answer inquiries promptly and professionally.

Send confirmations and reminders to reduce missed appointments.

Upload, review, and summarize legal documents.

Maintain accurate case notes and internal communication.

Monitor case updates and assist with document organization.

Support attorneys and paralegals with clerical duties.

Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism.

Remain on camera during working hours for transparency.

Participate actively in meetings and follow internal procedures.

Direct calls professionally and empathetically.

Assist clients with appointment scheduling and document submission.

Send reminders and follow-ups for deadlines and required forms.

Stay informed on immigration law and firm updates.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

Bilingual in English & Spanish

C2 level English proficiency

1+ years of experience in customer service (preferably in an office setting)

High cognitive intelligence test performance

 

Preferred Skills:

2+ years of experience in a law firm setting (legal assistant, secretary, or receptionist)

Familiarity with legal procedures and client intake

Strong verbal and written communication

Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities

Proficiency with case management software (e.g., MyCase, Cerenade, Clio)

Experience managing social media messages

High level of discretion and confidentiality

Ability to work independently with accountability
