Job Description:
We are seeking an intermediate Full-Stack Developer & Web Designer to own the creation of beautiful, responsive websites and applications across desktop and mobile. You’ll take a project from concept to launch—writing custom code, crafting modern layouts, optimizing for SEO, and adding smooth, engaging animations. Candidates must be adaptable to different tech stacks and have a strong creative vision for user interfaces and interactions. This role can be full-time or part-time, with immediate start. Applications close on July 22, 2025, at 3 PM EST.
Responsibilities:
• Build end-to-end web solutions: front-end interfaces and back-end services.
• Design and implement clean, modern layouts for desktop and mobile views.
• Develop custom animations and interactive elements to enhance user experience.
• Optimize site structure, content, and code for SEO best practices.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, performance, and accessibility.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and realize project vision.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain existing web applications.
• Manage project tasks, timelines, and deliverables independently.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
• 2–4 years of professional experience in full-stack web development and design.
• Proven track record building responsive, SEO-friendly websites.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (including Flexbox/Grid), and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, databases, and server-side technologies.
• Experience creating and integrating custom animations (CSS, JavaScript, or libraries).
• Solid understanding of SEO principles and their technical implementation.
• Ability to translate design mockups (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) into working code.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
• Hands-on with one or more modern frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular, Svelte).
• Experience with back-end frameworks (e.g., Node.js/Express, Django, Ruby on Rails).
• Familiarity with CSS preprocessors (Sass, Less) and build tools (Webpack, Gulp).
• Knowledge of version control (Git) and collaborative workflows (GitHub, GitLab).
• Exposure to serverless platforms, headless CMS, or static site generators.
• Basic graphic design skills or experience with motion-design tools (After Effects).
Personality:
• Visionary thinker with a strong creative eye for UI/UX.
• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, autonomous environment.
• Collaborative team player with clear communication skills.
• Adaptable and open to feedback, always seeking continuous improvement.
• Passionate about web standards, performance, and emerging technologies.
Software & Tools:
• Code editors: VS Code, Sublime Text, or equivalent.
• Design & prototyping: Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD.
• Version control: Git, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket.
• Build & automation: Webpack, Gulp, NPM/Yarn.
• Animation libraries: GSAP, Lottie, CSS transitions/animations.
• SEO tools: Google Analytics/Search Console, Lighthouse, Screaming Frog.
