Job Title: Marketing and Client Relations Specialist

 

Position Description:
 

Our Client is seeking a dynamic and skilled Marketing and Client Relations Specialist to lead marketing efforts, maintain client relationships, and support administrative operations. This role requires expertise in content creation, brand management, CRM oversight, and event coordination. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively across two business entities: a keynote speaking business and a boutique research consulting firm.

Our Client operates in the professional speaking and consulting industry, delivering high-value keynote presentations and strategic insights to organizations worldwide. With a strong focus on emerging technologies and business trends, they require a dedicated marketing professional to enhance their digital presence, grow their audience, and ensure seamless engagement with clients and event organizers.

 

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time (40 hours per week)
  • Monday to Friday, with flexible working hours based on business needs

 

Key Responsibilities:
1. Marketing Oversight (40%)

  • Develop and manage all marketing materials, including website content, SEO-optimized copy, one-pagers, and social media posts to ensure a strong brand presence.
  • Design and produce marketing collateral using tools like Canva, Munch, or other creative platforms for video editing and graphics to support brand messaging and event promotions.
  • Build and maintain an editorial calendar that aligns with key events, themes, and industry trends, ensuring consistent and strategic messaging.
  • Oversee and update CRM tools, monitor engagement metrics, and optimize outreach strategies for audience growth and engagement.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for video editing, graphic design, and other specialized marketing services to ensure high-quality and timely deliverables.
     

2. Client Relationship (40%)

  • Identify and research speaking opportunities with target organizations and associations, manage outreach efforts, and oversee the application process for keynote engagements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and speaking bureaus, ensuring alignment with event goals and speaking portfolio.
     

3. Administrative Support (20%)

  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations by managing deadlines, tracking project timelines, and maintaining high standards for all deliverables.
  • Handle logistical details for speaking engagements, including scheduling pre-interviews, communicating with event planners and speaker bureaus, and coordinating AV needs.
  • Schedule debrief calls, coordinate follow-ups, and gather post-event assets for marketing and client deliverables.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, brand management, or client relations.
  • Strong proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and other digital design tools.
  • Experience managing social media platforms, content marketing strategies, and engagement metrics.
  • CRM and email marketing experience to optimize outreach efforts.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

 

Language Requirements:

  • Minimum B2 level English proficiency.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in video editing and familiarity with tools like Munch or similar platforms.
  • Prior experience in event coordination or managing speaking engagements.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and Google Ads management.
