Job Title: Head of Personal Injury Department

 

About the Company:

Our Client is a law firm based in Georgia, focusing on Personal Injury, Immigration, Criminal, and Family Law. The firm serves primarily Hispanic and minority communities nationwide, with a mission centered on justice and advocacy for all.

 

Job Description:

The Head of the Personal Injury Department will oversee all operations from intake to settlement/litigation support, ensuring excellence, efficiency, and compliance in case handling.

 

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the PI team (case managers, assistants, paralegals).

• Implement and enforce firm-wide SOPs, KPIs, and accountability systems.

• Manage client communication protocols and ensure exceptional service.

• Drive cases forward proactively to resolution through settlement, negotiation, or litigation support.

• Collaborate with leadership on growth, marketing, and process improvement strategies.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience managing legal staff, preferably in Personal Injury cases.

• 5+ years of leadership/supervisory experience in a law firm or similar environment.

• Proven ability to lead virtual teams across time zones and cultures.

• Strong knowledge of PI law (U.S. expertise required; Georgia preferred).

• Expertise in case management systems (MyCase or similar).

• Proficiency with automation tools (Case Status, ArcRetrieval, InfoTrack, etc.).

• Excellent written and spoken English and Spanish (bilingual required).

• Exceptional skills in negotiation, client communication, and problem-solving.

• Ability to train, mentor, and enforce accountability.

• Strong organizational, time management, and reporting skills.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with U.S. law firms from Argentina or other Latin American countries.

• Familiarity with insurance claim processes, liens, and reductions.

• Prior use of AI tools in legal practice (demand writers, automated case summaries).

• Litigation support experience (filings, discovery, attorney support).

• Deep cultural understanding of Hispanic/immigrant communities.

• Proactive problem solver.

 

Software & Tools:

• MyCase, Filevine, Case Status, Arc Retrieval, InfoTrack, Google Workspace, AI tools.

 

English Level:

C1, C2, Native

 

Schedule:

9-5 EST
