Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Paralegal to join our client’s legal team. The successful candidate will assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings, as well as managing case files and researching legal precedents.

 

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of legal documents such as briefs, contracts, and pleadings.

• Conduct legal research and gather relevant case law, statutes, and other legal information.

• Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

• Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal cases.

• Support attorneys with trial preparation and other legal proceedings.

• Manage deadlines and ensure timely submission of legal documents.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant.

• Strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in specific areas of law (e.g., corporate, family, criminal, etc.) is a plus.

• Familiarity with e-discovery and document management systems.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

 

Personality:

• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of organization.

• Proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Strong ethical standards and professional integrity.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach.

 

Software & Tools:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Experience with legal research databases (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis).

• Familiarity with case management software (e.g., Clio, MyCase).

 

English Level:

• C2

 

Schedule:

• 9-5 EST
